How is it almost October and where did the first month of school go???
Jacob is absolutely loving Kindergarten and is getting used to being in a more structured setting that Junior K! He enjoys going to PE, Music and Art classes but especially likes recess! Jonah is also loving his "First Steps" class but is getting ready to transition to the Toddler room in a few weeks. He has lots of great friends and absolutely adores his sweet teachers.
Both boys are exhausted by the time we get home, so our afternoons are filled with quiet playtime (Legos of Jacob, anything and everything for Jonah) and sometimes shows or movies. Our morning are very early and therefore, so are our bedtimes! Jacob is practicing reading each night and is doing great! He has enjoyed pulling out our fall book collection lately! Jonah also loves reading and actually enjoys his frequent breathing treatments because it means he gets to listen to about 10-12 books. We are hoping to keep all of that under control as the weather changes and will most likely start daily breathing treatments for prevention soon.
Now that it's almost October, we've got a lot of fun activities on the calendar! We're looking forward our annual trip to the pumpkin patch, fun events at the club and of course trick-or-treating!
Here is just a little idea of the last month, our busy days are followed by very lazy, low-key afternoons and weekends!
| Grandaddy came to have lunch with Jacob at school to celebrate Grandparents Day! |
| There is nothing better than popcorn and movie night! |
| This little guy is getting so big! He has started chowing down on full apples, but has to be monitored because he'll practically eat the stem if you aren't watching! |
| Tired (matching) brothers after a busy day at school! |
| Excited for a lazy Saturday, dressing up with swim goggles and Jacob's t-ball hat! |
| Sleepy boy holding hands with his light up turtle. |
