Take Me Out to the Ballgame

Nathan and Jacob had a little daddy/son outing to the Ballpark today to watch our beloved Rangers.  Jacob was so excited to have some one-on-one time with daddy and see the Rangers play (he loves to watch them on tv with daddy as well!).  It was a warm afternoon, so they made sure to drink lots of water but also enjoyed nachos and popcorn.  What a fun way to spend the day!!!

Homemade Finger Paint

3 T sugar

1/2 t salt

1/2 c corn starch

2 c water

Combine in a small saucepan.  

Warm until mixture thickens.  

Cool and pour in container.  

Add food coloring.

Naptime!

Jacob  One Month Old

Newborn Pictures!

Auntie Catherine came over a few weeks ago to take Jonah's newborn pictures and I couldn't be more thrilled!  Each and every picture was wonderful, we had a hard time deciding which ones we would use for the birth announcements and which ones we would order for around our house!  I thought I'd post some of the pictures, they are just too cute not to share!

Bathroom Spruce-Up

I originally decorated the bathroom upstairs while awaiting Jacob's arrival four years ago.  I've always been happy with it, but after four years, it was definitely time for a little pick-me-up.  With two boys in tow, I also decided to commit to blue and not worry about having a gender neutral bathroom!  Gone are the white towels (a thorn in my side since they can't be bleached due to the embroidery!!), shower curtain, and bath mat. We kept the insect decals on the walls because I still think they're cute and have become attached!

Joyland Spring Concert

Sunday night was Jacob's Joyland spring concert and my first real outing since February!!  Mim, Grandaddy, and CiCi all came (Poppa was out of town on business) and we enjoyed a nice dinner at Chuy's afterward!!
