9 Months Old!

Jacob has had a very busy birthday indeed! He spent the morning in Joyland at church while mom was in MOPs. When he got home, he was a very sleep boy because he seems to not want to nap at church! The day was full of fun time with mom and lots of snuggles!

Jacob was definitely in a much sillier mood than he was last month!!

Busy Bee

Now that Jacob is crawling more proficiently, our house has become quite the playground! He got his first official boo boo a few weeks ago, as you can see in the first picture. I felt so horrible, but realized it was the first of many to come!

Instead of laying on the floor playing, Jacob is now standing tall to enjoy his toys. This toy went from having no legs, to two, and now all four!

Jacob looooves his rocking baseball man that Grandmommy and Grandaddy bought him. He lets momma know he's ready to play by crawling to "Homer" and giggling at his face. Sometimes, he'll even start pulling him over to his play area!!

One of our first projects while baby-proofing was to get a gate for the top of the stairs. Jacob loves to play in his gameroom and it's a great place for him to explore safely. Like I said previously, he's pulling up on everything including the gate, which makes momma very nervous!

Time Flies

It doesn't seem so long ago when we used to lay Jacob on the floor (on his back) surrounded with toys to play. Now, it's hard to imagine! Each day, Jacob gets a little more adventurous and has crawled so far as the foyer and dining room. We had to lower his mattress (yet again) because he's pulling up on everything! Instead of going in his room after naptime and finding him awake but on his back, we find him standing up, waiting to be "rescued". It truly is such a fun time, to see him discover new things and develop his little personality. Probably the thing we love the most is how Jacob makes himself laugh! He'll be playing with his toys and just start cracking himself up. He truly lifts our spritis every day and makes us so thankful.

"Guys?? Guys?? Can somebody help me??"
