We spent a very low key and relaxing weekend visiting Grandaddy and CiCi at the Lake!  The boys did great on the two hour drive both going an coming and we enjoyed just hanging out, swimming in the pool, playing outside and grilling out!  As you can see, there aren't any pictures of Nathan and I because quite frankly, we spent the weekend in workout clothes and I didn't even bother with makeup!  We love our weekends at the lake and can't wait to go back when it gets cooler and we can spend even more time outside!  Thanks Grandaddy and CiCi for such a fun weekend away!

Jump Mania

We met up with our friends Anna and Joseph for a playdate this morning at Jump Mania in Plano.  The kids had such a great time running around together playing and Julie and I enjoyed having time to chat!  With the hot, hot weather, it's so important to find fun things to do indoors!  After playing for nearly two hours, we headed to lunch at good old McDonald's and they kids played some more.  Four hours after our playdate began, we had some tired kiddos!  What a fun way to spend a summer day!!!

Jonah was so bummed he was too little to jump!  He decided to get some much needed rest instead!!

An Early Favorite

Nathan's cousin and his wife sent the sweetest gift box for Jonah after his arrival and one of the things they included was a personalized Angel Dear blankie.  It has become Jonah's favorite cuddle toy and he is just so darn cute holding onto it while he's in the swing or sleeping (we don't put it in his crib with him at night!)!  Jacob didn't start to favor Puppy and Lovie until much later, so we were surprised when Jonah showed so much interest in Lucy (Jacob named it!).  Any time Jonah is over-sleepy or cranky, we put Lucy up near his face and pop in a pacifier and he instantly calms down!  Now we just need to buy a second blankie for when it's being washed!!!

Fro Yo

We crossed one more activity off our "Summer of Fun" list today when we paid a visit to Yogurtie for some frozen yogurt!  It was the perfect way to beat the heat and enjoy some fun with the boys.  Of course, Jacob's bowl was filled mostly with the toppings and just a little dollop of chocolate frozen yogurt!!

3 Months Old!!!

How is it already July and how is Jonah already THREE months old???  This age is so much fun because you can start to see Jonah's personality and really interact with him.  He is such a sweet, sweet baby and is very easy going.  He's sleeping through the night and often doesn't wake up for a bottle until 8am!  Right now, he is getting a bottle about every three hours during the day and absolutely sucks down 4 oz!  He is smiling and cooing all the time and is a very happy baby!  Jonah still isn't loving tummy time, but he did roll over (from tummy to back) for the first time the other day.  He takes a paci, but is trying desperately to find his thumb!  Jonah absolutely loves Jacob and the three of us are often in fits of giggles together!
