Attack of the Killer Bunny

Today was the last day of music camp at church, and the last year Jacob will be young enough to participate. To finish out the week, they always bring in a petting zoo which never fails to be a hit! Jacob looooved the large turtle they had this year, but was very wary of the giant bunny sitting to the left of him!

Six Years

Today Nathan and I celebrate six years of marriage! It's so incredible to look back at all the adventures we've had in the past six years and also think about the many years to come. We have certainly been through our fair share of life's ups and downs, but it's comforting to know that I'm not in it alone, but have my best friend along with me to face it all!

Saturday morning, we went to a friend's birthday party. The party was princess dress up theme and I got Jacob a knight costume, but of course he wouldn't wear it! During the party, he was really shy and didn't really interact with any of the kids. After a little while, though, he did start playing with all the great toys, but was happy to be on his own. Pajama Party!

Jennifer (Nathan's cousin), Ed, and baby Elizabeth came over yesterday evening for a cookout. Jacob was so excited to see the baby and even more excited when they both got in their pjs for a little party! What a sweet boy!

Summer Playdate

One of the best things about summer is getting to have fun playdates with friends! This morning we headed to PJ and Katelyn's house for a fun outdoor playdate and Jacob could not have been more excited! Summer really snuck up on us, so we headed out shopping for swim apparel yesterday and found some great sets. Jacob was so excited to wear all his shark gear (his new obsession) and enjoy the time outside with his friends!
