If you're ever in the need for a nap mat, I would certainly recommend Mary at Precious and Prosperous!

Nap Mat
We've been frantically running around this week, gathering all the supplies Jacob will need to start school on Monday. One of those items is a nap mat. His school provides mats for the children to sleep on, but they aren't very thick and they suggest bringing something to put on top to make it more comfy. Of course, knowing me and my love of Etsy, that's the first place I looked! I found an amazing shop called Precious and Prosperous that just so happens to be made in Prosper! I contacted the owner, Mary, and we began plans for Jacob's very own nap mat. Mary's mats are completely customizable, she has lots of fabrics to choose from (of course I had to pick one that coordinates with his backpack!) and the price even includes personalization!
The mat rolls up and includes a strap for easy carrying. I loved that I could get Jacob's entire name embroidered because he has to have absolutely everything labeled for school!
The mat rolls out and includes a built-in pillow and attached minky blanket. It is so cozy and soft, perfect for a great nap!
Because Mary lives nearby, she met me to personally deliver the mat. It was wonderful to get it right away and not spend money on shipping! When we got back home, Jacob just had to test out his new nap mat. I think he likes it!

Random Pictures
I haven't blogged much in September due to our little family becoming ill and staying quite busy with the whole potty training thing. I realized I had a few little pictures that are just so sweet and cute of Jake that I had to share. He loves the camera and often asks for his picture to be taken. Of course, he really loves to take pictures himself. I'm thinking we may need to ask Santa for a camera for Christmas...

Fun at the Park
It's hard to believe that Fall is officially here (especially with temps still in the 90s!) and that October is literally right around the corner. Jacob doesn't start school for another week, so we're still enjoying low key days filled with puzzles, coloring, games, and of course going to the playground!
This morning, the clouds were looking quite ominous and I was afraid I was going to have to cancel our visit to the park, but the sun peeked through the clouds and the rain held off! We were the only ones at the park for quite some time, which Jacob thoroughly enjoyed. He had such a fun time climbing, swinging, and going down the various slides. He likes to switch between the regular swing and the "baby" swing, I think he feels more comfortable in the baby swing and doesn't have to worry about balance and actually staying on the swing!
Now that he's potty trained, I was a bit worried seeing that there was no restroom, but all was well and we had a wonderful, breezy morning at the park. What a great way to spend the day!!

Root for the Home Team!
Friday night, we took Jacob to his very first Rangers game with Grandaddy. It was the perfect set up, with a parking pass located near the ballpark and great seats with plenty of space to spread out. The first 20 minutes were warm and sunny, but as soon as the sun went down past the ballpark, the weather was perfect! We enjoyed a great evening root, root, rooting for the home team!!
