We've discovered the best remedy for a hot July day in Texas...Hawaiian Falls! We spent the day with Mim, Poppa, Drew, Ben, and Brady enjoying the water and staying cool on all of the rides. Luckily, we had reserved a private cabana that allowed us to have a place to relax, rest, and enjoy our lunch. Before we arrived, Nathan and I worried that Jacob would get bored or that it wouldn't be suitable for him, but our fears quickly dissolved when we noticed that our cabana was right next to Keiki Cove, which is meant for littler guests. Jacob's favorites included riding down the lazy river with daddy, playing in the wave pool with mommy, and riding a few of the littler water slides all by himself! Our fun day in the sun definitely wore all of us out and Jacob was ready for an early bedtime!!

Summer Playdate

Jacob's friends PJ and Katelyn came over this morning to play. We set up the sprinkler, water table, and pool outside where it's shady. I ended up turning off the sprinkler because their favorite thing was the pool that we bought for Jacob when he was only 6 months old! After playing outside, we had popsicles and then played upstairs until it was time for PJ and Katelyn to go home for lunch and nap. It was definitely a fun way to spend the morning!

Celebration Park

After several days of playing indoors because of the rain, Jacob and I were so excited to spend the morning outside at the park! We met some friends at Celebration Park and enjoyed not only the regular play area, but also the splash park! It was the perfect way to spend a hot summer morning!!
