A Little Update
Well, the past week has been...interesting. The week before Spring Break is crazy enough by itself but then on Sunday morning I was admitted into the hospital. I woke up and had finished breakfast with Jacob when a terrible (I mean HORRIBLE!) pain stabbed my back and around my right side. It was so awful, I was actually frightened. Nathan and I debated whether or not to call the doctor, but after throwing up, decided to go ahead and do it. She told us to go on up to the hospital, which we did as soon as my parents came to pick up Jacob. Honestly, we thought either Jonah was going to make an early debut or we were going to be sent home in a few hours. Turns out something was going on with my kidneys. After an ultrasound, they discovered two large kidney stones (although it's apparently still up for debate whether or not they are actually there). Really the only thing that can be done for kidney stones in a pregnant woman is to hydrate, flush out the kidneys, and manage the pain. I was severely dehydrated and kept throwing up and I didn't get the pain under control until 9pm on Sunday. The urologist came by to visit on Monday morning and decided to keep me another 24 hours and if there was no improvement, we would book an OR to put in a stint. Luckily, I turned a corner and was feeling much better by Tuesday morning so we got to go home. Now I'm at home on bed rest for the remainder of the week. I am still in an considerable amount of pain, but have a prescription and am trying to take it easy! Nathan has been absolutely amazing and I'm so glad that next week is Spring Break so I'll be good and rested up before getting back to work! Please continue to pray for us, that Jonah continues to grow healthy and strong and that these issues with my kidneys get resolved.

A Work in Progress
Well, the storage is cleared out, the walls are painted (Ocean Breeze) and a few touches are finally making their way into Jonah's new nursery. Last weekend, we got the new roman shades from PBK up, the navy cubbies built and filled with all things baby! Now the fun really begins. I can't wait to buy the bedding and start having fun with all the colorful nautical accessories! Jacob absolutely loves baby Jonah's room and often opens the door to check on it while walking to his own room. Hard to believe another little boy will be living here in three months time!!!
