A Bouncin' Good Time

Jacob's friend, PJ, came over on Sunday afternoon and brought his bounce house with him! It was an absolutely gorgeous day and Jacob had a fantastic time bouncing all afternoon! When it was time to go, Jacob had to make sure to say, "Bye, bye bounce house.". This may just have to go on our list of backyard must-haves for next year...

Happy Easter

We had a wonderful day celebrating Easter complete with a basket full of goodies, an Easter egg hunt, as well as church and lunch with Mim and Poppa!

The day began early as Jacob awoke to find a special treat the Easter Bunny left him. His basket was filled with books, movies, Legos, and a few other fun surprises.

After exploring the contents of his Easter basket, it was time to find the eggs the Easter Bunny had hidden around the house. They were filled with Jacob's favorites- jelly beans, Skittles, and Starbursts!

Jacob even got to enjoy a few treats before getting ready for church!

Before we headed out the door, it was time for a few Easter pictures...

After church, we headed over to Mim and Poppa's house where Jacob got to hunt for some more Easter eggs! He had such a fun time!

He even received another Easter basket filled with all sorts of goodies like a coloring book, Wiggles movie, fire engine book, toys, and more candy!

We had such a fun time celebrating Easter with our little boy. Holidays are getting so fun and they really bring back so many memories from when we were little!

MDO Easter Party and Egg Hunt

Jacob had such a fun time at Mother's Day Out today! His toddler classroom had a special party complete with juice boxes (a real treat!) and cookies. Afterwards, they went to the playground for an Easter Egg Hunt. Of course, he was preoccupied with the tractor that was parked on the street nearby, but still managed to find several eggs. We have learned that Jacob absolutely loves to search for Easter eggs and especially loves to find the yummy candy inside! His favorites include jellybeans, Skittles, and Starbursts!

Easter Eggstravaganza

The weather was absolutely beautiful for our church's annual Easter Eggstravaganza. It was held at church this year, which was also perfect and Jacob is the perfect age to begin to truly enjoy these sorts of activities.
Each age group had a designated hunting area and a designated time slot. Two year olds hunted at 11:10 and it was an Easter egg hunting frenzy. Jacob was sooo excited to find the eggs, and especially excited to get to keep them! After hunting for eggs, he got his face painted. When we thought about what he should get, we decided a green BU to cheer on the Bears as they're in the Elite Eight tomorrow!
